This past weekend at The Bullring at Las Vegas (NV) Motor Speedway, 14-year old Kyle and 12-year old Clayton Weatherman demonstrated why they are two of the nation‘˜s top Legend car drivers.

In two days of racing action where Young Lions, Semi-Pro, and Pro classes were merged, the duo scored four top three finishers on the 3/8-mile banked oval.

On Saturday, the team worked on setups logging a number of laps to break in the new spec Federal tires used in competition. The tires need more than 100-laps on them to even begin to work well according to crew chief Michael Harper.

After the first practice session both boys were near the top of the speed charts but Clayton was dealt a blow when a camshaft failed setting the team in action to swap out the spec Yamaha engine. Thirty-eight minutes later with a new engine in place, Clayton made it back out on the track in time for the second practice session.

Both drivers were dominate in their heat races and registered second (Kyle) and third (Clayton) place finishes respectively in the 25-lap main event.

After an evening of relaxation that included cosmic bowling with the team, the Weatherman brothers were back in action on Sunday afternoon dominating the events. Kyle claimed the victory with Clayton a close second in the feature race.

"There is nothing like winning and we had a much better car on Sunday," Kyle Weatherman offered. "We needed the tires to come in and once they did we were really good. I like coming out to Vegas and certainly have had good success there."

Last season, Kyle Weatherman won the prestigious USLCI Nationals besting over 160 of the top drivers in the country.

For his part, Clayton Weatherman enjoyed the finish but he also knew he was close. You can call it sibling rivalry. "All I want to do is beat Kyle," Clayton Weatherman said. "We got close this weekend and I know it will happen soon. I really enjoy racing Kyle and I liked this track a lot. The Bullring is a fun place to race."

Next up for the duo is the Monster Jam World Finals back in Las Vegas at Sam Boyd Stadium this coming weekend. Both boys will attend a two day autograph session on Friday and Saturday as well as participate in team activities for crew chief Michael Harper, who owns The Outlaw Monster Truck. You can follow both Kyle and Clayton all season long at http://www.weathermanmotorsports.com, http://www.kyleweatherman.com, http://www.claytonweatherman.com or on Facebook.

If you are anxious to learn how to invest like the multimillionaire Warren Buffett, it is important to first flick through some investments made by the man, in his beginning years of investment. After a thorough review, your information on the subject will then be sound enough to buy stocks like Warren Buffett.

One of the earliest and most talked about investment made by him was in the company named Berkshire Hathaway that is situated in Omaha, Nebraska in the U.S.A. The company is involved in the business of cotton mill and cotton spinning. In May 2012, the class A shares of Berkshire became the highest priced shares in the New York Stock Exchange.

This company is a gigantic merger of two companies namely Hathaway Manufacturing Company and Berkshire Fine Spinning Associates Inc. that took place in the 1950s. The reason for this merger was a depression in the textile business after the World War I. The investor Seabury Stanton of Hathaway contributed some more money to help it out of the hard time. As a result, soon the company came into its boom period, where he decided to shake hands with Berkshire Fine Spinning Associates Inc.

Warren Buffett made his appearance in the early 1960s, by buying the stocks of the much bigger Berkshire Hathaway. Although, when Warren looks back to what he has earned in the last almost half the century of his investment, he calls it a poor investment decision as he could have earned multiple folds of returns if he would have invested the same in an insurance company.

However, he learned a lot about investing after he acquired Berkshire Hathaway. He started by buying stocks of the company in 1962. Here, the reason of investment was Warren Buffett's intrinsic value concept. He believed that the sale price of the stock was lower than its intrinsic value. Moreover, he had followed a trend in the share prices of the business after every shutdown of the mill of the company.

Within a year, he and his associate investors became the largest shareholder of the company. As a result, Warren showed more interest in the company and continued to buy its stocks. However, it soon came to notice that the textile business was losing its charm in the market. Therefore, Jack Stanton, who took the leadership from his father, offered to verbally buy the stocks held by Warren Buffett at a low price of $11 ½. Warren agreed to the offer, but when the written agreement was sent, it quoted the share price at $11 3/8. This made Warren angry, after that, he decided to purchase more of the company's shares to become a holding owner. Therefore, he bought 49% of the shares, fired Stanton with the power of his vote, became the Chairman, and introduced Ken Chace as its President.

The scenario had worsened as he was holding a company that was near to close down. However, Warren handed the spinning business operations to Chace and focused upon improving the financial structure of the company.

The reason behind such a decision was that Warren had estimated that the intrinsic value of shares had fallen below the share price, and the profitability was reduced to the minimum point. He could have saved the mills from closing down by opting for the debts, but he opposed taking debt for running a business. Conclusively, just two mills were left running with 2300 employees working for the company. Both the experts managed to stabilize the company at this point, and the share price elevated by $ 3 since Warren had bought its shares.

Berkshire survived many ups and downs during its running. But Warren Buffett's intrinsic value principle aided to recover from its worst time and begin to generate good revenues later on. Warren initiated to step ahead in diversifying this business, and he opted for the insurance business. Berkshire bought equity stakes of the Government Employees Insurance Company, in the 1970s. This investment became the source of financing for Berkshire in the form of great returns over the amount capitalized.

This made Berkshire the investment vehicle for Warren, as he started making investments in other businesses. The textile business aspect was soon understood to be endangered by the foreign market competition and huge costs it will have to bear to improve the structure. Hence, in 1985, the last textile mill operations also were shut down.

The unprofitable business was put to an end, because Warren had foreseen that textile business was in loss and that Berkshire does not stand a chance in the future. This was the reason why he introduced Berkshire Hathaway into the insurance market. The insurance business has a great deal of profits as there are huge premiums charged against a situation that might or might not take place. Hence, the company became an investment legend thereon.

At present, Berkshire Hathaway Inc. is controlling many subsidiary companies. It has shown a growth rate of 20.3% in its last 44 years. Warren Buffett is its Chairman and CEO. In the span of ten years from 2000-2010, the company's stocks gave a return of 76% to its investors. It is quoted to be the eighth largest public company in the globe.

A number of glass companies traveled to Las Vegas last week to take part in GlassBuild America. While the show primarily targets glazing companies, exhibitors reported that they were also seeing a few architects walking the show, and were featuring products that can be specified for both interior and exterior applications.

Chris Dolan, director of commercial glass products for Guardian Industries, said the company was featuring its partnerships with two advanced glazing companies, Soladigm Electrochromic Glazing and Pythagoras Solar. One of the featured products was the electrochromic Sunguard EC, which it is marketing with Soladigm, as well as Guardian‘˜s PVGU photovoltaic glass, marketed with Pythagroas Solar.

à¢â‚¬Å“There is tremendous interest in buildings that approach net zero,à¢â‚¬ said Dolan. à¢â‚¬Å“Architects are looking for products like these à¢â‚¬¦ [as they] make more options available.à¢â‚¬

Guardian was also featuring switchable privacy glass, which goes from opaque to clear. The product can also be produced with colorful interlayers and is ideal for applications such as board rooms, as well as hotels and restaurants.

Imagery in glass continues to be popular, and Todd Danciak, director of marketing with AGC Glass Company North America, said the company‘˜s Krystal Images decorative glass products were receiving a lot of interest, à¢â‚¬Å“especially because of the clarity of the pictures we‘˜re able to display,à¢â‚¬ he said.Decorative wasn‘˜t the only feature in the company‘˜s booth.

à¢â‚¬Å“We‘˜re introducing a new triple silver coating that‘˜s coming to the market the first quarter of 2013,à¢â‚¬ said Danciak.

PPG was also busy with a number of new products for architectural glazing. Glenn Miner, director, construction, flat glass, said they were announcing the new Solarban 67, a solar control low-E product that will be available for commercial shipments in the first quarter of next year. Miner says it has a neutral appearance for both transmittance and reflective colors.

Also on the decorative side, Walker Glass featured six new designs in its Nuances line of acid-etched glass. Danik Dancause said before narrowing it down to the final six, the company started with 600 designs.à¢â‚¬Å“We asked architects and designers which ones they liked,à¢â‚¬ he explained of the study completed to select the new options.

à¢â‚¬Å“We found that lines/classic designs are what [architects and designers] are looking for,à¢â‚¬ he said. These styles also include the company‘˜s first double-sided pattern, which Dancause said renders somewhat of a 3-dimensional effect and also received a lot of attention.

IBISWorld‘˜s Glass & Glazing Contractors market research report provides the latest industry statistics and industry trends, allowing you to identify the products and customers driving revenue growth and profitability. The industry report identifies the leading companies and offers strategic industry analysis of the key factors influencing the market.

Industry Analysis & Industry Trends

A clearer outlook Having made it through the recession, glass and glazing contractors now have a recovery to look forward to. Both the residential and nonresidential building markets are forecast to grow over the coming years, and demand for glass and glazing services will consequently follow. Demand from institutional buildings like hospitals and educational facilities will continue to be solid, while the renewed demand from the residential sector will significantly benefit the industry's many small-contractors, which were hard-hit by the housing slump.

Industry Report - Starting a New Business Chapter

This industry has a low capital intensity and a high degree of labor intensity. The majority of industry participants confines their operations to supplying a mobile repair and installation service and requires specially equipped vehicles for transporting glass sheets and rudimentary storage/workshop space. The large scale glazing operators often undertake in-house fabrication and typically have a higher level of sunken capital than the bulk of industry participants.

What is the Glass & Glazing Contractors Industry?

Companies in this industry primarily select cut and install glass panels for large windows, glass doors, skylights and sunroom additions in all types of buildings. The glasswork performed includes new work, additions, alterations, maintenance and repairs. This industry does not include the installation, tinting and repair of automotive glass.

Only a few weeks away from her NASCAR Sprint Cup Series debut in the Daytona 500 on Feb. 26, former IZOD IndyCar Series star Danica Patrick revealed Monday that she will be skipping the 2012 running of the Indianapolis 500.

Instead, Patrick revealed during the opening stop of the 2012 NASCAR Sprint Media Tour hosted by Charlotte Motor Speedway that she will be behind the wheel of the No. 10 GoDaddy.com Chevrolet fielded by Stewart-Haas Racing during the Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway on May 27.

à¢â‚¬Å“I‘˜ve wanted to race stock cars for a little while here and it‘˜s happening,à¢â‚¬ Patrick said. à¢â‚¬Å“We‘˜ve added another challenge with the Coke 600, or Coke 6,000 as I‘˜ve been told.à¢â‚¬

The decision, Patrick said, was mainly a business decision. Patrick has raced in the past seven Indianapolis 500s, earning a best finish of third in 2009 while driving for Andretti Green Racing.

à¢â‚¬Å“I hope to do it in the future, the Indy 500 that is. Maybe it‘˜ll be a double,à¢â‚¬ Patrick said, referring to the Coca-Cola 600 and Indianapolis 500 double that her Sprint Cup team owner Tony Stewart, John Andretti and Robby Gordon have done in the past.

Patrick is scheduled to run up to 10 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series events this year for Stewart-Haas Racing in addition to the full NASCAR Nationwide Series schedule with JR Motorsports.

Pressure is On Tony Stewart and Steve Addington in 2012

Members of the media got their first look at the new driver/crew chief combination of Tony Stewart and Steve Addington Monday and the pair already look like they‘˜ve been working together for years.

But still, the 2011 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series champion Stewart admits they have a lot to learn about each other.

à¢â‚¬Å“We‘˜re just a bunch of low-key, down to Earth racers, hardcore racers that just want to race. That is the attitude Steve has,à¢â‚¬ Stewart said. à¢â‚¬Å“I‘˜m not putting any pressure on him (Addington). I‘˜m looking forward to going out and racing with him.

à¢â‚¬Å“We both know there is going to be a period of learning each other and just little things. Daytona, that 10 day period is not going to get it done. It is going to take getting through Phoenix and Vegas and some of those races to really get in tune with each other,à¢â‚¬ Stewart added.

If Addington was concerned about any potential learning curve, he certainly didn‘˜t show it.

à¢â‚¬Å“One guy isn‘˜t going to make a big difference,à¢â‚¬ said Addington, who moved to Stewart-Haas Racing from Penske Racing. à¢â‚¬Å“I‘˜ve gotta keep the communication with him going as far as the race car is concerned. Having that supporting cast, the people that are around you and throughout the organization, that is what makes you successful.à¢â‚¬

Another new piece of the puzzle at Stewart-Haas Racing is Greg Zipadelli, Stewart‘˜s former crew chief at Joe Gibbs Racing. Zipadelli joins Stewart-Haas Racing as the organizations new competition director and will also serve as Patrick‘˜s crew chief during her 10-race venture into Sprint Cup.

Stewart Eyes Seventh Daytona Nationwide Win

Tony Stewart will attempt to win his seventh NASCAR Nationwide Series race on the high banks of Daytona International Speedway on Feb. 25. This year Stewart will drive the No. 33 Oreo 100th Anniversary Chevrolet fielded by Richard Childress Racing. Stewart has won the last four NASCAR Nationwide season openers at Daytona and hopes to add a fifth-straight victory next month.

Aspen-Dental to Sponsor Newman; Outback Steakhouse, Quicken Loans Join SHR

Stewart-Haas Racing announced Monday that it reached a multi-year agreement with Aspen Dental, one of the largest networks of dental-care providers in the United States, as a new sponsor for Ryan Newman's No. 39 Chevrolet.

The Syracuse-based dental care provider will be the primary sponsor for Newman in 2012 for NASCAR Sprint Cup Series races at Daytona in July and New Hampshire in September and will serve an associate sponsor at other events.

Stewart-Haas Racing announced in late 2011 that it would add Outback Steakhouse and Quicken Loans to its stable of sponsors for 2012.

New Crew Chiefs Settling In At Joe Gibbs Racing

After what many would consider a down year for the Joe Gibbs Racing organization, the team decided that a little bit of change was in order.

Darian Grubb, who won the 2011 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series championship with Tony Stewart, was hired to replace Mike Ford as crew chief for Denny Hamlin on the No. 11 FedEx Toyota.

à¢â‚¬Å“I‘˜m really excited to join Joe Gibbs Racing and the No. 11 FedEx team,à¢â‚¬ Grubb said Monday. à¢â‚¬Å“We‘˜re having lots of fun, we‘˜re having lots of meetings. We‘˜re kind of setting the course for what we want to do. We want to go out there and be competitive.à¢â‚¬

Elsewhere, crew chief Jason Ratcliff was promoted from the JGR NASCAR Nationwide Series operation to replace Greg Zipadelli as crew chief of the No. 20 Home Depot/Dollar General Toyota driven by Joey Logano.

à¢â‚¬Å“J.D. (Gibbs) gave me the opportunity about seven years ago to come over and work on the Nationwide program,à¢â‚¬ said Ratcliff. à¢â‚¬Å“It has been great for seven years and I knew it would have to be a really special deal to move beyond that.

à¢â‚¬Å“They‘˜ve given me an opportunity that fits well with a great driver, with great sponsors like Home Depot and Dollar General, and a team that is eager to go out and win races,à¢â‚¬ Ratcliff added.

The one driver at Joe Gibbs Racing that didn‘˜t get a new crew chief is Kyle Busch, who will again partner with Dave Rogers for the 2012 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series season.

As a security professional, justifying a budget for a product that may never be needed is a constant bugbear. So, when you find a solution that will deliver safety as well as save you money, you know you‘˜re onto a good thing.

As surprising as it may sound, we are talking about safety window film. Known for its ability to hold glass together in the event of breakage, its safety benefits are non-negotiable. But despite being considered a reliable solution to secure glass in a building, it is often seen as a hefty expenditure to prevent a problem that may never happen.

However, what if you could also get the benefits of solar protection film, including reduced energy bills and decreased carbon emissions, in the same product?

Solar protection safety film is a proposition that does just that, and suddenly turns a business expense into a cost saving opportunity. First, let‘˜s get back to basics. We all know that broken glass poses a major threat to safety. Not just for occupants of the building, but sometimes even for general passers-by.

For example, in a bomb blast, flying broken glass causes 90 per cent of injuries, rather than the actual explosion itself. We have all seen the damage caused by the riots that took place in London recently, which resulted in hundreds of buildings being smashed and looted.

Not only does safety window film make the process of breaking and entering a lot more difficult, it significantly reduces the risks of being injured. Whether it is the result of a riot, bomb blast or just a genuine accident, the danger of broken glass (and sometimes flying broken glass) can pose a very grave risk of injury and even fatality. Without a doubt, it‘˜s a risk that needs to be addressed. Like standard safety film, solar protection safety film works by holding the pieces of glass together when a window is smashed, preventing it from breaking into dangerous shards and causing injury.

By keeping the glass shards together as one pane, it also gives windows a certain degree of flexibility. This means that in event of a blast, rather than the glass breaking and blowing inwards, the film will flex, keeping all the fragments together and within the window frame. The safety benefits of solar protection safety film speak for themselves. The real surprise is in the additional advantages and cost savings found in the solar properties of the product.

All you have to do is think about getting into your car on a hot summer‘˜s day to know that standard glass doesn‘˜t block heat. The same applies to a building. Un-filmed windows allow the area around them to heat up quickly, increasing the internal temperature dramatically and making it very difficult to control.

Most facilities managers address this issue by ramping up the air conditioning, which is a very easy short-term solution, but a long-term headache. Air conditioning is expensive to run and unkind to our environment. On average, a building using air conditioning to cool its rooms can increase its carbon emissions by 100 per cent.

Worse still, air conditioning units normally create cold spots, forcing people to either open windows or even turn on the heating to try and stay warm, creating a self-defeating cycle of heating and cooling. When you take into account the fact that most of the energy used in air conditioning goes to waste, you begin to understand what a massive drain on resources it is for a business. Solar protection safety film prevents up to 80 per cent of heat from entering the building in the first place. This creates a stable and consistent climate throughout the entire building and typically reduces temperatures by between five and ten degrees. This not only helps to improve staff comfort and productivity, but more importantly, it can cut a building‘˜s cooling load by as much as 30 per cent. In many cases solar protection safety film can have such a dramatic effect on reducing a building‘˜s carbon footprint that it can become carbon neutral within one year of installation.

Obviously, any reduction in the reliance on air conditioning has a significant impact on energy bills, helping to contribute towards return on investment (ROI). But when you take into account that solar protection safety film can also improve a business‘˜s green credentials, the case for installation becomes even more compelling.

So there you have it, the benefits are as clear as the film itself. Although we don‘˜t like to consider the risks, the unfortunate truth is that riots are becoming more and more prevalent and terrorism is a constant threat to our buildings. With high profile events such as the London Olympics 2012 approaching us, there is a very real cause for concern.

Justifying costs at a time when budgets have been cut will continue to be an obstacle for security professionals. However, any investment that can slash energy bills and carbon emissions, at the same time as securing a building and keeping occupants and the general public safe, is a no brainer.

http://www.prosecurityzone.com/News_Detail_Cost_benefits_of_using_glass_safety_film_18211.asp#ixzz25m8wxzRT

St. Charles, Missouri (TBD) Daryn Weatherman has successfully expanded his St. Charles Glass and Glazing Inc. business to meet the high quality demands that many home builders in the area expect. Weatherman‘˜s company has developed their reputation on providing their customers with the highest quality glass products in the area.

In 1995, Daryn Weatherman noticed that there was a void in quality glass production in Missouri; he took it upon himself to create a company that focused on providing customers with high quality glass at a reasonable price. In the beginning he worked with a small crew and the services he offered were limited. But he stuck with it and is now one of the leading glass suppliers in the St. Charles area.

His company, St. Louis Glass and Glazing Inc. has become the first stop for many home remodelers and home builders located in the state. He is now proud to offer his customers custom glass, shelving, and closet organization systems that are installed by his knowledgeable and experienced employees. A representative from St. Louis Glass and Glazing Inc. will meet with homeowners to discuss and assist their glass needs. Daryn Weatherman has constructed a team of experienced professionals who continue to impress customers with the knowledge and skill. They will ensure that any project you are working on is completed to the highest standard possible.

In addition to becoming the first choice for homeowners and builders in the area, Daryn Weatherman st charles glass is fast becoming a reputable source for auto glass as well. Employees of St. Charles Glass and Glazing Inc. will travel to their customer‘˜s location, where they will then professionally install and replace auto glass in a professional and timely manner.

The business that Daryn Weatherman created in 1995 has flourished to become one of the leading sources for commercial and residential glass in the state of Missouri. St. Louis Glass and Glazing has become the favored choice among homeowners and builders in the greater St. Louis area. They have the skill and experience to make every project shine.

About St. Charles Glass and Glazing Inc.:

Texas Motor Speedway volunteers rolled up their sleeves Wednesday to help fight hunger in Fort Worth during its Speeding to Help community outreach program by assisting the Tarrant Area Food Bank with its food distribution during one of its busiest times of the year.

With area students set to start school in the coming week and the increased demands to distribute food, 23 speedway employees volunteered to help sort and organize more than 30,000 pounds of food donated by area grocers to the Tarrant Area Food Bank. The organization, which serves 13 North Texas counties including Tarrant, Bosque, Cooke, Denton, Erath, Hamilton, Hill, Hood, Johnson, Palo Pinto, Parker, Somervell and Wise, relies on the support of organizations like Texas Motor Speedway to help continue its mission to eliminate hunger.

à¢â‚¬Å“Texas Motor Speedway employees helped sort and pack breakfast foods which are very important for the clientele who are served by our 300-plus partner agencies in 13 counties,à¢â‚¬ Tarrant Area Food Bank Communications Director Andrea Helms said. à¢â‚¬Å“Texas Motor Speedway volunteers and all the thousands of volunteers who come through here make it possible for us to distribute that food. Without their help, we wouldn‘˜t be able to do what we do.à¢â‚¬

Speeding to Help is in its fifth year and has helped contribute to organizations across the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. The program kicked off Aug.10 with volunteers landscaping a new playground that was built for the Butler Branch of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Fort Worth through a grant from Speedway Children‘˜s Charities-Texas. Volunteers also visited the Dallas Zoo on Aug. 16 to assist in sprucing up the entrance of the JC Penney Discovery House Exhibit in the Lacerte Family Children‘˜s Zoo.

The program continues Tuesday as volunteers will help 6 Stones feed needy families in the Hurst-Euless-Bedford area. A truckload of non-perishable food essentials and personal supplies provided by Feed The Children will be distributed by speedway employees and 6 Stones volunteers to aid 400 families in the area.

Speeding to Help concludes on Friday, Aug. 31, with the announcement of expansion to its NASCAR-themed, incentive-based à¢â‚¬Å“Speeding to Readà¢â‚¬ program. The program debuted last year at Clara Love Elementary in Justin and motivated students to read more frequently as 96 percent of the 627 students met or exceeded their reading goals. Students from the participating schools will fill the Northwest High School football stadium as they help usher in a new year of the program.

If you are faced with having to replace windows, tabletops or shower doors you will most likely be faced with the decision of tempered or non-tempered replacement glass. The differences between using tempered or non-tempered glass can simply be narrowed down to safety. Depending on the use and the area where it will be used, tempered glass offers you a stronger replacement option. There are many different ways in which each type of glass can be used; what we are going to try and do is help you make an informed decision.

Tempered glass is a term that is used to describe glass that has been treated and manufactured to be up to five times safer than regular glass. This high safety standard is what makes it the ideal choice when the glass you are replacing will be used regularly. The process of manufacturing tempered glass differs greatly than what is done to produce regular glass. For those who are considering purchasing tempered glass, Daryn Weatherman has ensured that all of the tempered glass that leaves his doors, has been produced using the highest quality standards.

When tempered glass is made, it is cut to the specific size that is needed before it is treated. This is primarily due to the fact that once glass has been treated to become tempered glass, it cannot be cut. If you try to cut a piece of tempered glass it will shatter. This is one of key factors that have made tempered glass more popular among home owners and others who are safety conscience. Once the glass has been cut to size, the edges are belt seamed or sanded in order to remove any jagged or sharp pieces that may still be on the glass. After the edges of the glass have been smoothed, it is then washed to remove any debris that may have been left over from the treatment phase. The final step in producing tempered glass is to heat it to almost 1200 degrees Fahrenheit and then immediately cool it. This heating phase is what gives the glass the desired tempered effect.

When choosing tempered glass over non-tempered glass you will not lose any clarity. Tempered glass is just as clear as non-tempered glass. If a piece of tempered glass appears rough or feels rough, it is because the glass was not properly treated. A properly treated piece of tempered glass will have the same smooth feel and clarity as untreated glass. In most cases it is hard to tell simply by looking, which piece of glass has been tempered. To ensure that you are purchasing a piece of tempered glass, you should look for the mandatory tempered glass stamp that is applied to every piece of tempered glass. This seal can be found on all of the tempered glass that is used by Daryn Weatherman and St. Louis Glass and Glazing Inc.

If you are looking for glass that will be used as shower doors, sliding doors or windows; you should consider using tempered glass. Tempered glass will provide you with a higher level of safety than untreated glass. If safety is your primary concern, tempered glass is definitely the right choice. To ensure that the glass you are choosing is appropriate for your needs, consult the experts who work for Daryn Weatherman at St. Louis Glass and Glazing Inc. they have years of experience and can help you choose the glass that best suits your needs.

CHARLOTTE, NC (July 3, 2012)- The Big Money "100" offers Legend car racers from across the country the opportunity to showcase their talent in perhaps the biggest event of the year at Charlotte (NC) Motor Speedway. Tonight the 3rd annual event takes place under the lights after two days of practice and preliminary races.

The Legends Big Money 100 at Charlotte Motor Speedway is the largest grassroots race in history will again offer the largest Legend Car and Bandolero purse of the year as drivers from all across the U.S. do battle on the speedway's frontstretch quarter-mile oval.

"There is no doubt this race is a big deal for us," stated Kyle Weatherman, the 2011 USLCI Legend Car National Championship event winner. "We are spending all summer in Charlotte racing in the Summer Shootout and this race is one that I really want to win."

Kyle Weatherman is 14-years old and competes in the Legends Pro division having already racked up twenty starts prior to the Summer Shootout. He has scored eight wins along with 14 top five and 15 top ten performances with only one DNF. He has made starts in his Legend car, Dirt Super Late Model, and in IMCA Modified this season. He is also the 2011 USLCI Legends Nationals champion. His start to the Jack in the Box Summer Shootout has not been as expected only notching one top five finish in three starts.

Kyle will have his work cut out for him as he will have to work is way through the "B" feature today and finish in the top ten in order to gain a transfer spot into The Big Money "100" tonight.
Meanwhile, younger brother Clayton (13) who competes in the Young Lions division of the USLCI Legend Car Series has scored nine wins in sixteen starts so far this season but his performance at the Summer Shootout has not gone the way he planned. Clayton is healing from a broken thumb that required surgery and pins after a devastating crash in Texas back in May.

"Clayton is trying to get his mojo back," stated Daryn Weatherman (father and owner of the team). "This will be a great race to do it."

Clayton is set to roll off 19th on the grid and will have to use some patience to work through the field but he has proven he is more than capable at Charlotte. In 2010 he won in the Summer Shootout from deep in the field.

You can follow both Kyle and Clayton during the entire Shoot out all summer at www.weathermanmotorsports.com, www.kyleweatherman.com, www.claytonweatherman.com or on Facebook.

Daryn Weatherman has worked hard to grow his sons future with Weatherman Motorsports. Daryn Weatherman has helped his sons run the Big Money à¢â‚¬Å“100à¢â‚¬.

The Big Money "100" offers Legend car racers from across the country the opportunity to showcase their talent in perhaps the biggest event of the year at Charlotte (NC) Motor Speedway. Tonight the 3rd annual event takes place under the lights after two days of practice and preliminary races.

The Legends Big Money 100 at Charlotte Motor Speedway is the largest grassroots race in history will again offer the largest Legend Car and Bandolero purse of the year as drivers from all across the U.S. do battle on the speedway's front stretch quarter-mile oval.

Successful business entrepreneur Daryn Weatherman who operates a large commercial and residential glass business in suburban St. Louis, MO owns weatherman Motorsports. The team features his sons, Kyle and Clayton, who compete primarily in Legend cars. This season Kyle will also make starts in IMCA Modified, Dirt Late Models, and in ARCA Racing Series. Beginning with his sons Kyle Weatherman and Clayton Weatherman, Daryn is determined to create a family racing dynasty.

Clayton and Kyle have built up a fine reputation in the Legend racing events around the country. Twelve year old Clayton and fourteen year old Kyle are taking away trophies regularly. Daryn is pleased with their success and proudly supports them with investments of his time and money.

These two young drivers are at the top of their game, placing within the top three finishers on numerous races. Their father has created the Weatherman Motor Sports website to disseminate news of their upcoming races. The site also gives potential sponsors a look at their racing abilities.

The boys have been working towards their goals for several years. In 2009, Kyle Weatherman won four of the five events in the Bandolero Bandits racing division at Battle in the Bayou. Kyle‘˜s brother Clayton Weatherman won the feature race in the same contest at Monroe Motor Speedway in 2010. A healthy level of sibling rivalry continues to spur the two on to greater and more impressive victories.

Kyle is making the leap to the ARCA Series in 2012, participating in the recent Toledo ARCA event. Due to a change in ARCA rules, Kyle is now eligible to participate in their races as one of the youngest ARCA racers in history. Clayton also continues to excel as a top winner as he too climbs towards fulfilling their ultimate NASCAR dreams.

Daryn is excited at the prospect of seeing the two young drivers advancing their racing careers. He sponsors them through his St. Charles Glass and Glazing Inc. and offers his time and attention as well. With Daryn Weatherman‘˜s steadfast backing, it is no wonder his sons are dominating the field of young American racers.
